Most people find us through golf, and that's where our lens started. But some of the people who wear it every day have never read a green.

Behind home plate

Major League Baseball tested our lenses for distortion, clarity, eye fatigue, visual acuity and speed of perception. After those tests, the league bought our sunglasses for every MLB umpire.

An umpire's problem is a lot like a golfer's. One second they're looking up into a bright sky or a setting sun, and the next they need fine detail at ground level. The gray top of our lens handles the glare, and the high-contrast amber on the bottom keeps the ball and the plate sharp.

On the mountain

Skiers get even more light, with sun bouncing off the snow from every direction. The gray up top cuts the glare from the sky, and the amber below brings out the bumps and shadows that flat light hides, so it's easier to read the slope in front of you.

Back on the course

It's the same lens in every case, the one we built for golf. Gray on top for following a drive into the sun, high-contrast amber on the bottom for reading the grass, and no polarization, so the sheen that shows you which way a green breaks is still there.
