Why Sunglasses Sizing Matters

How to measure your sunglasses frame size with a credit cardA pair that feels fine in the mirror can feel different on the course. You've got a cap on, you're looking down at the ball on every shot, and by the back nine you're sweating. If a frame is too narrow, it presses on your temples under the hat. Too wide, and it slides down your nose every time you look down to putt.

That's why we made a sizing guide. All you need is a credit card. Hold it flat against the side of your head at the temple, as shown in the guide, and see where it lands. That tells you whether a small, average or large frame will fit you best.

Which frames come in each size

Small frames fit narrower faces without shifting around. The AV1, CY6 and PK1 are all small.

Average frames fit most people. That's where you'll find the GX5, our best seller, along with the GX6 and the LX2.

Large frames give wider faces room without pinching. The SL9 and AV2 are both large.

Fit matters for the lens, too

All PeakVision frames feature our patented non-polarized Dual-Zone lens: neutral gray on top and high-contrast amber on the bottom. A frame that sits at the right height puts the amber in front of your eyes at address and the gray in front of them when you look up to follow the ball. One that slides down your nose throws that off.

If you're between sizes, send us a note and we'll help you pick. And if the fit isn't right when they arrive, you have 30 days to send them back. Every pair ships free in the US.
